London is learning, discovering and exploring the world around him in new and different ways everyday. Things he wouldn’t notice, understand and interact with even just months before, he’s taking interest in now. Places that we’ve been to before seem like new places again for him and me! Its been fun and exciting for us to go out and experience the world like never before.
This day, we went to the Children’s Museum in Portland, Oregon. We’ve been here before for a birthday party. But, as I mentioned, many things felt like a new experience for him as his level of understanding grows.
We’ve always wanted to check out the local band, Micah and Me, who perform around the Portland area for families with young kids. They’ve been on my bucketlist to see. When I saw on the PDXParent.com calendar that they would be performing at the Portland Children’s Museum, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity.
London is still a little apprehensive about live bands but he’s starting to warm up. Good thing because Daddy and Mommy love to see live music!
We explored the many exhibits featured at the Children’s Museum. His favorite was the room with cars and trains… he didn’t want to leave!
We’ll be back!
Do you have little ones and live in the Portland area? What are some of your favorite places to visit that is made for kids or kid friendly? Please let me know! We’re adding to our list of places to go!
