Yesterday, I posted a video of our hike up to Pittock Mansion. Today’s video is of our hike down from Pittock Mansion. We hiked down the Wildwood Trail to Lower Macleay Trail with our hike ending at Lower Macleay Park.
My friend Steve offered to let London sit on his shoulders for the first half of the hike. London enjoyed the hike from that view. This also made it easier for me to maneuver the stroller for the first half of the hike down.
It was less windy going down because of the trees blocking the wind. It was just a little muddy in few places but for the most part, the trail was dry.
Towards the 2nd half of the hike down, I could tell that London was becoming a bit tired. We put him into the stroller and he soon fell asleep. The Thule multisport jogger did great maneuvering even with London inside.
Even with the trail bumps, London stayed asleep all the way to the end. Must have felt like a full body massage.
The view at the top was amazing. We were able to spend time in nature and get some good exercise. This was a great day to spend with friends.
